BIBLE STUDY OUTREACH INTRODUCTION

 

This PROGRAM STARTED in the mid-seventies when twelve women, who had completed the Bible Study Fellowship courses, decided they would like to help others study the Word of God.

ALL MATERIAL IS WRITTEN specifically for BIBLE STUDY OUTREACH and is edited by an able editing staff. The Board Members are grateful to serve the Lord in this ministry.

THE IN-DEPTH STUDIES offer warmth of fellowship, opportunities for prayer and involvement with others who care, as they share and support one another in God's Word.

IMPORTANT TO BIBLE STUDY OUTREACH is its goals, listed below, which we pray will help men and women-
    1. Get into the Bible on a regular basis;
    2. Understand what the Bible is saying to them personally;
    3. See how they can apply God's Word to their own lives;
    4. Learn to pray, privately and in groups;
    5. Cross racial, cultural, and denominational lines;
    6. Be able to serve God with their fullest potential;
    7. Reach out to others as mature Christ-centered individuals;
    8. Have influence for Jesus Christ wherever they are, in their homes, at work, church or recreation.

THIS IS A FAITH WORK. It is supported by offerings from each person who is being blessed by the use of the material. Each person involved in the work is doing so by a call from God to serve the Savior. It is done with a great sense of love and much thanksgiving to God to be in His service. We are a volunteer team serving the Lord God that He might be glorified in other lives.

ALL OFFERINGS go to support the entire BIBLE STUDY OUTREACH ministry and the continuation and expansion of the program. There are no dues and all donations are tax deductible since we are a non-profit Association.

THE MAJOR EXPENSES are printing, shipping our material, and the ongoing work of AFRICAN MISSIONS. Our mission work in Africa under the direction of Kenyan National Japheth Musyoki is to extend and make available our materials to the indigenous peoples of Africa who neither understand nor speak the English language. Our goal is to translate our materials from English to Swahili and other languages, crossing all racial, cultural and denominational lines with the hope of enriching their lives, and to encourage them to a more promising outlook. With available funds we hope to train other nationals in this ministry.

WE SHIP MATERIAL wherever requested. Each year new classes are added and we continue to have strong support from the many classes in the Northwest. We have classes in Nairobi, Kenya and surrounding areas under the direction of Japheth.
